Final reading of a bylaw to adopt the Financial Plan for 2023 - 2027


Recommendation:


THAT the bylaw cited as "Financial Plan 2023 – 2027 Bylaw, 2023, No. 3233" be read a final time.

First, second and third reading of Bylaw 3234 to authorize the borrowing of up to $15 million for strategic land and improvement acquisitions and undertake infrastructure upgrades.


Recommendation:


THAT the bylaw cited as "Property Acquisition, Infrastructure Upgrade and Improvement Loan Authorization Bylaw 2023, No. 3234" be read a first, second and third time.

Recommendation:


THAT City Council direct the Corporate Officer to submit Property Acquisition, Infrastructure Upgrade and Improvement Loan Authorization Bylaw 2023, No. 3234 to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs for review and approval by the Inspector of Municipalities.

Recommendation:


THAT following approval of the Property Acquisition, Infrastructure Upgrade and Improvement Loan Authorization Bylaw 2023, No. 3234 by the Inspector of Municipalities, approval of the electors be sought through the Alternative Approval Process in relation to the loan authorization bylaw.

Recommendation:


THAT the report of the Manager of Engineering Services dated March 6, 2023 regarding “Amendments to the Subdivision and  Development Servicing Bylaw, No. 3126” be received for information.

First, second and third reading of a bylaw to amend the Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw 3126.


Recommendation:


THAT the bylaw cited as "Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw, No.3126, Amendment No. 1, 2023, No. 3235" be read a first, second and third time.

Recommendation:


THAT CO-63 Media Relations policy be approved; and
THAT GE-4 Media Contact Policy be repealed.
