2022 / 2023 Deputy Mayor Appointments

Recommendation:

THAT the 2022/2023 Deputy Mayor rotation schedule be approved as follows:
Nov. 5 - Dec. 31, 2022: Councillor Mack
Jan.1 - Feb. 28, 2023: Councillor Wallace
Mar.1 - Apr. 30, 2023: Councillor White
May 1 - Jun. 30, 2023: Councillor James
July 1 - Aug. 31, 2023: Councillor Solyom
Sept.1 - Oct. 31, 2023: Councillor Albrecht

Board Appointments

1. Metro Vancouver Board of Directors Appointment
Recommendation:

THAT Councillor Paul Albrecht be appointed to the Metro Vancouver Board of Directors for 2023; and

THAT Councillor Rosemary Wallace be appointed as an alternate.

2. Fraser Valley Regional Library Board Appointment
Recommendation:

THAT Councillor Rosemary Wallace be appointed to the Fraser Valley Regional Library Board for 2023; and

THAT Councillor Paul Albrecht be appointed as an alternate.

Council Meeting Format: Return to in-person Council meetings at 7:00 p.m.

Recommendation:

THAT effective January 1, 2023, the following motion passed at the October 18, 2021 Regular Council meeting, be rescinded:

"Effective November, 2021, unless otherwise resolved by Council, Regular Council Meetings be held electronically via video conferencing technology at 3:00 pm."
