LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The land on which we gather is on the traditional unceded territory of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Matsqui and Semiahmoo First Nations.

ADOPTION OF AGENDA

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the March 31, 2025 special meeting agenda be adopted as circulated.

REPORTS

Excavation & Shoring Policy - 15 minutes - 3:00pm

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT “Council Policy No.CO-87 - Excavation and Shoring” be approved.

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

A Committee of the Whole meeting provides Council a greater opportunity to speak to and debate specific agenda items.

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Council commence Committee of the Whole.

2025 Community Grant Allocation - 2 hours - 3:15pm

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Council receive the March 25, 2025 Report to Council titled “2025 Community Grants” from the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for information.

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE - RISE AND REPORT

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Committee of the Whole rise and report.

6.

RATIFICATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS FROM COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

Ratification of recommendations as required.

7.

MOTION TO HOLD A CLOSED MEETING

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the Council Meeting immediately following this meeting be closed to the public as the subject matter being considered relates to items which comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

1 (c) labour relations or other employee relations.
