LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The land on which we gather is on the traditional unceded territory of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Matsqui and Semiahmoo First Nations.

ADOPTION OF AGENDA

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the February 2, 2026 special meeting agenda be adopted as circulated.

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

A Committee of the Whole meeting provides Council a greater opportunity to speak to and debate specific agenda items.

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Council commence Committee of the Whole.

Parking Strategy - 1 hour - 3:00 pm

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Council receive the presentation on the Draft Public Parking Strategy Report for information.

Report: Director of Engineering, Parks and Environment

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the report “Draft Public Parking Strategy Report” be received for consideration.

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE - RISE AND REPORT

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Committee of the Whole rise and report.

BUSINESS ARISING FROM COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

Ratification of recommendations as required.

THAT the following recommendations from the Committee of the Whole be ratified:

MOTION TO HOLD A CLOSED MEETING

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the Council Meeting immediately following this meeting be closed to the public as the subject matter being considered relates to an item which complies with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:
